Cameron Mark Thomas Brannagan, midfielder born in Salford, joined United from Liverpool for an undisclosed fee on 11th January 2018 on a three-and-a-half-year contract. On 7th August 2020 he signed a two-year extension to his deal. Won the Players' Player of the Year award for 2018/19 and 2021/22 and the Supporters' Player of the Year for 2021/22, as well as Goal of the Season for 2021/22 for his long-range strike against Portsmouth. Became the first player in the English league to score four penalties in one game, against Gillingham on 29th January 2022. Voted into the League One PFA Team of the Year for 2021/22. After Blackpool met his release clause, he signed a new three-year deal with United on 28th July 2022. Voted Supporters' Player of the Year for 2023/24 and the Oxford United Community Player of the Year for the same season. Voted into the 2023/24 PFA League One Team of the Year. Signed a new long-term contract on 24th July 2024. Won Goal of the Year for 2024/25 for his long-range strike at Cardiff City, and the Goal of the Year award for 2025/26 for a great strike against Millwall. Capped twice for England U18s and twice for England U20s.
